EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

I. Essential Educational Qualifications:

Class  XII or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% Marks

OR

Class  XII or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45% Marks in accordance with NCTE Regulations 2002 notified on 13-11-2002

OR

II. Professional Qualifications:

Diploma in Nursery Teacher Edaucation/ Pre-School Education/ Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed) of duration not less than 2 (two) years or B.Ed (Nursery) from NCTE

In Case, there are not enough candidates possessing the professional qualification, those candidates who are eligible except the professional qualification may be considered for engagement with the condition that they should possess the professional qualification before the 5th re-engagement if extended

AGE LIMITS:

• The age limit for the candidates shall be 18-38 years as on the date of notification i.e 8th January 2024
• Further age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for ST/SC Candidates. For PWD and Meritorious Sports Persons (candidates), additional relaxation as permissible by rules shall apply.

PAY AND ALLOWANCES:

• Rs 15,000 for 11 Months in a year per scheme norms
